Als Support Engineer verzeker je dat de IT infrastructuur optimaal funktioneert zodat eindgebruikers hun dagdagelijkse taken zonder enig probleem kunnen uitvoeren.

Dit houdt in dat je actief oplossingen biedt voor (GE-escaleerde) aanvragen van eindgebruikers en dit binnen de overeengekomen SLAs. Deze aanvragen hebben vnl. betrekking op: creatie van accounts, access & software installaties alsook deployment campagnes (via SCCM, MDT, Intune en andere software distributiesystemen).

Wat doet een support engineer

Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het monitoren van tickets en het verminderen van de backlog van level 2 binnen de overeengekomen SLA(s)

Je zorgt voor de nodige escalatie naar de geschikte persoon, helpdesk d.m.v. accurate documentatie. Indien nodig zet je informatiesessies op met de helpdesk teneinde zorg te dragen voor de transfer van technische kennis omtrent nieuwe projecten en/of changes

Je kan alternatieve oplossingen aanreiken (help tracking tools, advanced tools run diagnostics & develop pro-active resolution scripts) en schrijft procedures

Je verleent technische ondersteuning (en zorgt voor de nodige configuraties) op het vlak van: Workstation, printers, software pakketten & Microsoft patches

Je informeert het management over opkomende trends op het vlak van incident management en analyseert de documentatie teneinde recurrente problemen te voorkomen

Wat heb jij reeds op zak

Je hebt een doorgedreven kennis in Windows Operating Systems configuraties

Je hebt een goede kennis van Hardware en standaard software pakketten (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, O365, SCCM en Intune)

Basiskennis van Citrix, Scripting, PowerShell, PHP is zeker een plus

Je hebt reeds gewerkt in ITIL gedreven omgevingen & weet als geen ander waar ITIL principes en processen op zijn gebaseerd. Je hebt een sterke affiniteit met IT evoluties

Je beschikt over sterke analytische vaardigheden en bent een uitstekend luisteraar

Je stelt de verwachtingen van de klant, de eindgebruiker steeds voorop en kan de nodige prioriteiten stellen

Je hebt een flexibele ingesteldheid en bent punctueel

Je bent in staat om ideëen op een gebruiksvriendelijke manier te presenteren

Je bent een echte teamplayer die communicatief vaardig is (bij voorkeur 3-talig) , bovendien bezit je voldoende schriftelijke kennis & kunde van de Engelse taal om professioneel te documenteren
