It was founded 15 years ago by two Next Gens of very large European Families (Aliaxis and Solvay). Since then, close to 200 family enterprises spanning 25 countries have joined us, many of them being behind Fortune 500 companies, including Michelin, Yves Rocher, and Vermeer.

Our platform allows them to have a centralised tool to communicate, store information and documents, organize private and professional events such as their boards, streamline the education of the Next Generations, browse through the family tree, and many more.

Trusted Family operates as a hybrid company.

We have 25 amazing team members representing 10 nationalities and living in many parts of the world: United States, Mexico, Colombia, Portugal, France, Belgium, Italy, Germany and India.

We gather all together at least once a year during a memorable Company Offsite (last year in Provence, south of France) and have many occasions to meet in our regions during industry events or client conferences that we organize.

Position: Sales Director

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Director to join our dynamic Sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by strategically managing and leading efforts in French-speaking countries, with a primary focus on France.

In this role, you will be responsible for formulating and executing on your sales strategy, fostering strong relationships with partners and leading family business practitioners.

Exceptional empathy is a must, allowing you to establish strong connections with senior executives from leading family businesses. Your passion for helping families in achieving long-term success, coupled with the ability to construct high-performing sales strategies, will make you an invaluable asset to our team.

Responsibilities
  • Construct and execute on a Sales Plan that you have created for your region
  • Take ownership and initiatives for lead generation
  • Be able to work and live in our CRM (Hubspot)
  • Be relationship driven. Maintaining strong relationships with clients, prospects, partners has proven to be essential to the success of sales.
  • Stay up-to-date on SaaS sales best practices and how best to sell software and close deals
  • Collaborate with senior team members across all departments (Marketing, Product & Client Success) to uncover insights and create innovative sales strategies
Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is ambitious, results-driven and has faced complex challenges before. You’ll likely thrive in this role if you can demonstrate the following:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a sales position
  • Demonstrated a proven track record of entrepreneurial spirit and initiative-driven practices in previous roles
  • Strong understanding of the SaaS sales cycle and of technology
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively, sell strategically, and communicate efficiently both internally and externally
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of the family business and family office sector

You will be responsible for driving the growth of Trusted Family in France & Benelux. This is a remote position, but you must be based within the target regions. The candidate is expected to visit our Brussels office at least every two weeks, and on a weekly basis at the beginning to ensure an efficient onboarding process.
