Mega is seeking a B2C Sales Directorto drive sustainable and long-term growth on the Belgian energy marketand establish accountability within our sales and marketing channels. This role is integral to our growth trajectory and involves close collaboration with Sales and Marketing and its partners.

Key Responsabilities :

  • Sales & Marketing Strategy :

    • Know the market trends, competitors, and customer behaviours. Define target customer profiles and go-to-market strategies (Market Intelligence).

    • Define the Marketing and Sales strategy by setting clear objectives and targets for the B2C Energy division and hold the Sales & Marketing team accountable for achieving results.

    • Establish strong relationships with sales partners, guiding sales agreements, and ensuring all partners align with Mega’s brand and revenue goals.

  • Sales Enablement & Management :

    • Equip sales teams with data-driven insights, training and tools to maximize engagement and conversion rates.

    • Lead and optimize the performance of the B2C sales channel team.

  • Product & Innovation Strategy :

    • Manage the Product P&L for the B2C Energy portfolio.

    • Define the pricing and discount strategy.

    • Develop new partnerships / sales channels for both new Services as well as P&L optimization.

  • Brand Evangelism :

    • Act as a brand ambassador for Mega, building its reputation both within the company and in the external market / stakeholders.

  • Tactical Execution :

    • Identify and implement short-term tactics to drive immediate gains through small campaigns, limited-time promotions, and targeted marketing initiatives.

Key Objectives :

  1. Market Relevance : Establish Mega as the number 1 alternative in the Belgian energy landscape.

  2. Sustainable Growth : Focus on quality customer acquisition and retention, aiming for profitable, long-term growth.

  3. KPI Focus : Net Gain (Gross Gain - Churn), Gross Margin (revenue - cost of goods sold) and Cost-to-Acquire.
