The Senior OT Security Engineer leads cybersecurity efforts across OT environments, serving as a subject‑matter expert, driving proactive governance and risk reduction across manufacturing, distribution, and lab operations.

Role Responsibilities
Lead & implement OT cybersecurity strategy for manufacturing and distribution environments
Partner with leaders across manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and IT
Translate enterprise goals into OT programs and roadmaps, drive risk assessments, and guide cross‑functional teams in engineering, manufacturing in OT security assessments, including plant audits and segmentation validation
Direct risk assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability analyses
Establish and improve OT security policies and governance
Design and implement security controls for industrial environments (firewalls, monitoring, zoning)
Evaluate and deploy OT security tools (asset discovery, threat detection, remote access solutions)
Serve as a technical SME for new plant systems and integrations
Lead OT incident readiness, response, and resilience. Develop investigation efforts & mitigation strategies
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
Collaborate cross‑functionally to improve plant security posture
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of cybersecurity experience with OT/ICS exposure
Strong knowledge of industrial networks, security architecture, and risk management
Executive‑level communication skills, both verbal and written, capable of articulating technical topics to a wide range of stakeholders to drive understanding and alignment
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in OT security architecture and network segmentation
Experience supporting audits (ISO 27001, TISAX, CMMC, or similar)
Experience with OT security tools (Nozomi, Claroty, Dragos, etc.)
Experience with cloud‑based infrastructure (AWS, Azure..)
Experience leveraging AI tools to improve the effectiveness of a security tool or mechanism
Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
Able to interface with all levels of IT and partnering departments and teams
Preferred Certifications
GICSP
CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
Deep experience with regulatory and compliance frameworks (IEC 62443, NIST, ISO 27001, TISAX, CMMC)
Ensure compliance with NIST 800-82, IEC 62443, ISA/IEC standards
