The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Documentation & Training Officer to support a major European Commission initiative focused on digital services, user enablement, and e-learning delivery.
This role combines technical documentation, training development, learning management, and stakeholder engagement within a multicultural and international environment. The successful consultant will help create high-quality documentation, online learning content, training courses, and user support for business essential systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Create user manuals, quick guides, FAQs, knowledge articles, and technical documentation.
- Design and develop engaging e-learning content and training materials.
- Manage and support Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Produce multimedia learning assets, including video tutorials and screen recordings.
- Deliver training sessions and presentations to large and diverse audiences.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, project managers, and technical teams.
- Ensure documentation standards, governance, version control, and content quality are maintained.
Required Experience
- 15+ years of professional IT experience.
- Experience in online learning design and development, SharePoint, Confluence, Camtasia, Information Systems documentation, MS Project, PowerPoint
- Experience creating user documentation and delivering training programmes.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Moodle, or similar LMS tools.
- Knowledge of MadCap Flare, Adobe Technical Communication Suite, or equivalent documentation platforms.
