Senior Infrastructure Architect

h3About the Role /h3 pNISH Tech BV is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Architect to lead end-to-end infrastructure architecture across data center and multi-site environments. You will assess existing platforms, identify technical risks and debt, and define target-state architectures and transformation roadmaps. /p pWorking with server, network, storage, database, security, application, service-management, and vendor teams, you will develop architecture designs, technology standards, capacity models, security patterns, and migration strategies. You will ensure that solutions meet availability, scalability, performance, recoverability, security, compliance, automation, observability, and cost-optimization requirements. /p pThe role also includes technical governance throughout implementation and migration, support for major incidents and root-cause analysis, and evaluation of technologies and vendors. This opportunity suits a technically strong infrastructure professional who can make architecture decisions and communicate recommendations to both technical and executive stakeholders. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liOwn end-to-end infrastructure architecture across data centers and multi-site environments. /li liAssess current infrastructure platforms and identify risks, constraints, and technical debt. /li liDefine target-state architectures and infrastructure transformation roadmaps. /li liProduce high-level and low-level designs, technology standards, and capacity models. /li liDevelop security patterns, bills of materials, migration strategies, and implementation guardrails. /li liLead technical workshops and design reviews across infrastructure and technology teams. /li liDesign platforms for high availability, scalability, performance, and disaster recovery. /li liEnsure compliance, security, automation, observability, and cost-optimization requirements are addressed. /li liProvide technical governance during transition, migration, implementation, testing, and operational acceptance. /li liSupport major incidents, problem management, and root-cause analysis. /li liDrive risk remediation, infrastructure lifecycle management, and business continuity planning. /li liEvaluate technology products and vendors. /li liValidate solution sizing and commercial proposals. /li liPresent architecture decisions and recommendations to technical and executive stakeholders. /li /ul h3Required Skills /h3 h3Mandatory Skills /h3 ul li12-18 years of infrastructure experience. /li liAt least 5 years in infrastructure architecture, solution design, or technical leadership. /li liHands-on expertise in at least two infrastructure towers. /li liArchitecture-level knowledge across server, network, storage, backup, and database domains. /li liExperience designing highly available, secure, scalable, and disaster-recovery-ready enterprise platforms. /li liStrong communication, documentation, stakeholder-management, analytical, and technical decision-making skills. /li libRequired language: English. /b /li /ul h3Core Infrastructure Architecture Knowledge /h3 ul libServers and Virtualization: /b Linux/Unix, Windows Server, VMware or Hyper-V. /li libNetworking: /b Enterprise LAN/WAN, routing and switching, load balancing, firewalls, VPN, proxy, SD-WAN, data center networking, segmentation, and zero-trust principles. /li libStorage and Backup: /b SAN, NAS, and object storage. /li libDatabases: /b Architecture-level knowledge of Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL. /li libSecurity and Compliance: /b Infrastructure hardening, privileged access, vulnerability remediation, encryption, certificate management, logging, and audit controls. /li libAutomation and Observability: /b Infrastructure as Code and automation using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, or equivalent tools. /li libService Management: /b ITIL processes, CMDB, incident, problem, change, and release management. /li /ul h3About NISH Tech BV /h3 pNISH Tech BV is a Belgium-based IT consulting and technology services company connecting organizations with skilled professionals.
