We are also open to candidates based in Spain or Malaysia, working in a hybrid or remote setup depending on location. /p /brpYou'll work closely with a skilled, motivated team to lead the technical design of data architecture across the company, supporting internal decision-making and customer-facing projects alike. /p /brh3Snapshot Of What You Will Be Doing Here /h3 /brul /brliArchitectural leadership and oversight /brul /brliTake a leading role in shaping data architecture across programmes, helping teams align on sound design choices and long-term consistency. /li /brliEstablish data architectural principles, guardrails, and governance to ensure consistency across systems and domains. /li /br /ul /br /li /brliData modelling and design /brul /brliLead data modelling efforts across operational and analytical domains (OLTP/OLAP), developing conceptual, logical, and physical data models that ensure data integrity and accessibility. /li /brliDefine and enforce data modelling standards that enable seamless integration, analytics, and scalability. /li /br /ul /br /li /brliData Platform and Integration Architecture /brul /brliDesign and maintain modern Azure-based data platforms, including Data Lake, Data Factory, and Synapse Analytics. /li /brliDefine and implement data pipelines enabling both stream and batch data processing. Experience with streaming data technologies (Kafka, Flink, etc.) is a strong asset. /li /brliCollaborate with integration teams to define ingestion, transformation, and consumption patterns. /li /br /ul /br /li /brliData Strategy and Governance /brul /brliPartner with business, IT, and governance teams to develop and evolve the enterprise data strategy. /li /brliParticipate in defining policies and frameworks for master data management, metadata, and data quality. /li /brliEnsure architecture solutions comply with security, compliance, and GDPR standards. /li /br /ul /br /li /brliCollaboration and Stakeholder Engagement /brul /brliWork closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical blueprints. /li /brliAct as a subject matter expert to cross-functional teams on data architecture decisions and trade-offs. /li /brliProvide strategic input into platform roadmaps and modernization initiatives. /li /br /ul /br /li /brliInnovation and Continuous Improvement /brul /brliEvaluate emerging tools and Azure capabilities to drive continuous improvement across data ecosystems. /li /brliPromote automation, reusability, and efficiency in data ingestion, storage, and analytics. /li /brliShare best practices in data architecture and mentor team members to build internal capability. /li /br /ul /br /li /br /ul /brh3What Success Looks Like /h3 /brul /brliYou've established reliable, secure, and scalable data pipelines that are used across departments /li /brliYou've led architectural decisions that support both current operations and future scalability /li /brliThe team trusts your guidance and sees you as a go-to expert for data-related challenges /li /brliYou've helped raise the data maturity of the business by embedding governance and driving adoption /li /brliBusiness users have access to high-quality, well-structured data to make smarter decisions /li /br /ul /brh3We Are Looking For Someone Who /h3 /brul /brliHolds a degree (or equivalent experience) in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field /li /brliHas 5 years (or more) of experience in data roles such as data modelling, data engineering, analytics engineering, or technical lead roles /li /brliDemonstrates strong hands‑on experience in data modelling and data pipeline design /li /brliHas practical experience with Azure data services such as Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, and related tools /li /brliUnderstands data governance, security, GDPR, and compliance principles, even if not owning them end to end /li /brliHas experience working on complex data projects within a structured data environment /li /brliEnjoys working across teams and values shared outcomes over individual ownership /li /brliHas strong communication skills in English /li /brliCurious about the bigger picture and eager to grow from strong practitioner into broader architectural thinking /li /brliComfortable learning through collaboration, feedback, and exposure to complex environments /li /br /ul /brh3Why we think you will love working with us /h3 /brul /brliYou'll work at our HQ close to the action, decisions, and leadership.
