SAP S/4HANA Service

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Service & Advanced Execution Consultant to join a strategic SAP transformation project based in Ghent, Belgium.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience with SAP S/4HANA Service, particularly Service Advanced Execution (SAE), and will take on a combination of Solution Architect and Lead Consultant responsibilities.

This is a hands‑on role requiring someone who can define the overall service solution architecture, translate business requirements into functional processes, and actively support the implementation and delivery of the project.

You will work closely with business and IT stakeholders, ensuring that SAP S/4HANA Service processes are designed, implemented and successfully integrated across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and develop the solution architecture for SAP S/4HANA Service.
• Lead the functional and process design of SAP Service solutions, including Service Advanced Execution (SAE).
• Provide architectural guidance throughout the implementation and transformation programme.
• Take a hands‑on approach to configuration, implementation and project delivery.
• Ensure effective integration between SAP S/4HANA Service and SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM).
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical solution designs.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams and project management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support workshops, requirements gathering, solution design and implementation activities.
• Ensure the successful deployment and integration of end‑to‑end SAP Service processes.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience working with SAP S/4HANA Service
• Strong, demonstrable expertise in Service Advanced Execution (SAE)
• Experience operating as a SAP Solution Architect, Lead Consultant or equivalent senior‑level specialist.
• Strong understanding of service processes and their functional architecture.
• Hands‑on experience supporting SAP implementations and project delivery.
• Experience with SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM) and its integration with service processes.
• Ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and SAP solution design.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience delivering complex SAP transformation projects within enterprise environments.

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience within the utilities sector, ideally within a water company.
• Dutch‑speaking candidate (strong preference).
• Experience working on large‑scale, end‑to‑end SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes.
• Experience working across complex business and IT environments.
