Telekom HBS, specializes in delivering ICT Services in areas such as Cloud, Data Centre operations, Networking, Cybersecurity, BI and Data Warehouse, Big Data, Service Desk, Proactive Monitoring, Operations and Support, Service Management, Project and Programme Management, and Professional Services.
We are seeking a Senior Nutanix Engineer to join our team and be responsible for the following tasks:
Set up and configure Nutanix AHV clusters, including node installation, cluster creation and initial configuration
Participate in the migration of workloads from VMware ESXi to Nutanix AHV, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity
Provide hands‑on Nutanix operational expertise and best practices to architecture and engineering teams
Integrate Nutanix with existing virtualization services and ITSM/change‑management processes
Monitor and optimise Nutanix infrastructure performance against operational requirements and SLAs
Troubleshoot Nutanix infrastructure issues and support incident resolution
Configure and maintain Prism Central dashboards covering cluster health, VM performance and capacity
Develop and improve automation scripts, workflows and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) supporting migrations and ongoing operations
Prepare migration waves, sequencing, validation checks and rollback procedures
Produce operational and migration runbooks and maintain infrastructure documentation
Provide knowledge transfer and work closely with the existing virtualization operations team
Requirements
Strong hands‑on experience with Nutanix AHV in enterprise environments
Practical experience deploying, configuring and operating Nutanix clusters
Strong experience with VMware ESXi / vSphere environments
Experience performing or supporting VMware ESXi → Nutanix AHV migrations
Experience with Nutanix Prism Central, including monitoring, performance and capacity management
Experience troubleshooting virtualization and infrastructure issues in production environments
Experience with infrastructure automation / scripting / Infrastructure as Code
Understanding of enterprise ITSM, change management and operational processes
Ability to produce technical documentation, operational runbooks and migration procedures
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with architecture, engineering and operations teams
