pOur client, a prominent organization in the transport sector, is seeking a specialist to maintain and expand their backend and endpoint infrastructure. The role focuses on ensuring the continuity and efficiency of technical applications used for maintenance and diagnostics across a massive scale of endpoints. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liEvaluate backend and endpoint infrastructure environments to define upgrades, changes, and improvement proposals. /li liConduct feasibility studies for hardware and software solutions to meet evolving infrastructure needs. /li liDevelop technical designs in alignment with specific architectural requirements and organizational standards. /li liExecute software and hardware upgrades to ensure techniques align with user needs and project goals. /li liProvide support and maintenance for the IT infrastructure following ITIL methodologies. /li liDeliver technical advice to stakeholders to ensure correct assessment of technological possibilities and limitations. /li liParticipate in on-call rotations to guarantee optimal availability of critical systems. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liYou have 10+ years of relevant experience in system engineering within large environments of at least 100,000 endpoints. /li liYou possess expertise in software packaging for EXE, MSI, and MSIX using tools like InstallShield or WISE. /li liYou bring in-depth knowledge of Intune and SCCM for deployment and management. /li liYou're experienced with Active Directory, GPO, LDAP, and domain configuration. /li liYou have broad expertise in Azure, including static and dynamic groups and license assignment. /li liYou possess strong scripting skills in PowerShell and VBScript. /li liYou bring advanced knowledge of infrastructure stacks based on Windows, MacOS, Linux, Android, and iOS. /li liYou have experience with application virtualization using App-V and Oracle VM VirtualBox. /li liYou possess a professional certification such as MCSA, MCSE, or MCSD. /li liYou are fluent in English, Dutch, or French. /li /ul h3Nice to Haves /h3 ul liBroad knowledge of networking including TCP/IP, routing, VLAN, DNS, and DHCP. /li liAbility to maintain security processes, policies, and standards aligned with business objectives. /li liStrong stakeholder management skills for interacting with technical and business teams. /li /ul h3Offer /h3 ul liStart date: January 1, 2027 /li liDuration: project length until December 31, 2028 /li liWork regime: Full-time (216 days/year) /li liLocation: Brussels /li liContract: open to both permanent employees and freelancers /li /ul
