Project Leader gas infrastructure

We explore new technologies and invest in infrastructure to accommodate hydrogen, biomethane, CO2 and other molecules for a climate neutral future. /ppThe Installation Projects team within the Projects Belgian Operations Department at Fluxys, based in Brussels, is looking for a Project Leader Gas Infrastructure (m/f/x). /ppThe Projects Belgian Operations Department implements challenging infrastructure projects, ranging from the optimisation of existing pipelines and installations to the construction of new assets, all with a distinct focus on safety, quality and network reliability. /ph3Job purpose /h3pYou will be responsible for the technical, budgetary, organisational and administrative aspects of planning and rolling out projects to modify or expand Fluxys' infrastructure in line with safety and quality regulations and applicable regulatory standards. /ph3Your responsibilities /h3ulliYou will be responsible for the general management of projects related to the construction, modification and renovation of our (existing) stations. The very wide variety of projects includes the renovation and modification of existing gas infrastructure, the expansion of installations, the new construction of gas infrastructure, initiatives aimed at reducing CH4 and CO2 emissions, biogas injection projects and innovative developments contributing to the energy transition, as well as the renovation or new construction of warehouses and offices. /liliYou will ensure that these projects run smoothly from start to finish. /liliWorking with various internal departments and external stakeholders, you will be responsible for compiling the required documents and plans, permit applications, specifications and orders. You will coordinate all the teams involved and make sure that they are all on the same page. /liliDuring the implementation phase, you will take care of administrative and technical management, quality control, compliance with safety and security standards, the budget and schedule, and the coordination of various service providers. /liliThis job provides flexibility and variety in a dynamic and project-based environment. /li /ulh3About you /h3ulliYou have a master's degree in industrial, civil, electromechanical, chemical or energy engineering. /liliBetween three and five years of relevant experience as a project manager or project engineer would be an advantage. /liliYou are flexible and have good organisational skills. /liliYou are results-focused and have strong, and creative, problem-solving skills. /liliYou have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enjoy cooperation and negotiation and know how to motivate others. /liliYou have a strong analytical and critical mind combined with a pragmatic, field-based approach. /liliYou are business fluent in Dutch, French and English (or are willing to further develop your skills in this regard). /liliCumulative experience in civil engineering, electrical and instrumentation (EI), automation and piping would be an asset. /liliYou attach a great deal of importance to safety.
