Elmos - Technical Writer

We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team, specializing in creating and maintaining technical documentation for advanced optical metrology equipment used in the semiconductor manufacturing sector. This role involves close collaboration with engineering, product management, and regulatory teams to ensure accurate, clear, and compliant documentation that meets both internal and external requirements. Key responsibilitiesDevelop, update, and maintain technical manuals, including installation guides, user manuals, and maintenance instructionsUtilize DITA (XML-based) authoring with Ixiasoft as the content management system to produce structured and standardized contentEnsure documentation complies with regulatory standards, such as CE, Ul, EMC, safety, and ergonomics requirementsWork on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality deliverablesCollaborate with subject matter experts to gather technical information and ensure its accuracy and clarityCoordinate with internal and external teams for translation and localization projects, particularly into Chinese when required RequirementsProven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in high-tech or regulated industriesProficiency in DITA and Ixiasoft CMS or similar XML-based content management systemsFamiliarity with regulatory standards relevant to high-tech equipment (e.g., CE, Ul, EMC)Strong command of English, with excellent writing and editing skills.Ability to work independently on multiple projects while meeting tight deadlinesFlexible, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindsetKnowledge of Chinese is a plus but not mandatory What we offerA hybrid work environment, with the possibility of working from home 2-3 days per weekA role within an innovative and cutting-edge sector driving advancements in semiconductor manufacturingOpportunities for professional growth and development within a dynamic and collaborative team
