ppOur client, a leading Software, Information and Communication Technologies company, operates internationally (Athens, Brussels, Luxembourg, Copenhagen, Stockholm, London, Nicosia, Hong-Kong, Valetta, etc). Our client is a renowned supplier of IT services to government institutions, multinational corporations, public administrations and multinational companies, research and academic institutes. /p h3Role Overview /h3 pOur client currently has a vacancy for a bSolution Architect /b in English, to offer his/her services as an expertb remotely (within EU) /b. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team. /p h3Location: Europe /h3 h3Workplace: Remote /h3 pPlease note that we can consider only EU candidates for this position due to security clearance. /p h3Requirements /h3 ul liUniversity degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in IT; /li liMinimum 5 years of experience as a technology architect, data architect or applications/services architect; /li liExperience in Software development; /li liExperience of on-premise, virtualization and cloud-based Infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS); /li liExperience of working in an agile software development environment; /li liExperience with OCP, Postgres and Kafka ; /li liExperience in Solutions Architecture and Design experience across a broad portfolio of software, cloud and / or data projects; /li liHands-on knowledge in the administration, customization and use of the architecture, modelling or design tools (e.g. Sparx EA); /li liExcellent knowledge of architecture solutions design and modelling and project management; /li liExcellent knowledge of key IT

software engineering, security, system and network management, transaction processing, location and directory, user interface, international operations, data interchange, data management, graphics and image, operating system services, network services, communications infrastructure; /li liStrong knowledge of cloud platforms; /li liKnowledge of security best practices and tools; /li liBiometrics knowledge would be considered an asset; /li liThe following certification is required: TOGAF practitioner; /li liExcellent command of the English language. /li /ul h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liUnderstand, interpret and respond to detailed business requirements specifications and implement that requirements understanding in the architecture solutions and specifications; /li liCustomize and use the architecture, modelling or design tools to develop; /li liDesign the required conceptual architecture models using client’s architectural standard tools, define the components of the solution, and analyze the components from existing systems that can be reused. /li liDesign, develop, test and deploy customized artefacts (reports, data export and import scripts, diagrams and objects layouts and design, tool configuration, etc.) according to a set of requirements; /li liIdentify system, infrastructure and project interdependencies and balance competing demands to ensure project deliverables are achieved; /li liAssess the usage of the client’s modelling tools and advice on governance, conventions, procedures, methods, customizations and/or configurations that should ensure its most effective usage. /li /ul /p
