As a Senior Consultant in Compensation & Benefits, you will support clients on a wide range of reward-related matters, with a particular focus on the tax and legal aspects of compensation and benefits.You will help organisations design, review and implement compliant, competitive and employee-focused compensation and benefits solutions. You will work closely with colleagues across Deloitte’s Tax, Legal and Human Capital teams to provide integrated advice on reward structures, flexible reward plans, mobility-related benefits, the federal mobility budget, incentives and employment-related reward matters.This role is ideal for someone who has built a strong foundation in compensation & benefits and wants to deepen their expertise at the intersection of reward, tax, employment law, payroll and HR consulting, including Deloitte’s My Benefits My Choice offering.Your responsibilities• Support clients with the design, review and implementation of compensation and benefits programmes.• Advise on the tax and legal implications of reward structures, benefits plans and employee compensation arrangements.• Contribute to projects involving flexible reward plans, Flex Rewards, My Benefits My Choice, benefits optimisation, incentive plans, mobility-related benefits, the federal mobility budget and pay governance.• Analyse compensation and benefits practices and benchmark them against market practices.• Prepare client deliverables, presentations, reports and recommendations in a clear and structured way.• Support workshops, client meetings and stakeholder discussions on benefit choices, employee communication and implementation readiness.• Work with multidisciplinary teams across Tax, Legal, Consulting and Human Capital to provide integrated client solutions.• Monitor relevant regulatory, tax and legal developments affecting compensation and benefits, including flexible reward and mobility-related matters.• Assist in compliance reviews and help clients identify risks and improvement opportunities.• Contribute to business development initiatives, proposals and thought leadership on compensation and benefits topics.• Support junior colleagues and contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture.Let’s Talk About You• You have 3+ years of experience in compensation & benefits, tax, legal, HR consulting, employment reward or a related field.• You have a strong interest in the tax and legal dimensions of compensation and benefits, including flexible reward, mobility-related benefits and employee benefit plans.• You understand how reward programmes affect employees, employers and business outcomes.• You have experience with, or strong interest in, topics such as flexible benefits, salary packages, incentives, mobility benefits, the federal mobility budget, pension, insurance, allowances or employment-related tax matters.• You hold a Master’s degree in Law, Tax, Economics, Human Resources, Business, Finance or a related field.• You are analytical, detail-oriented and able to translate technical matters into clear client advice.• You have strong written and verbal communication skills.• You are fluent in English and at least one of Belgium’s national languages, Dutch or French; proficiency in the other language is a strong asset.• You are comfortable using Excel and PowerPoint; experience with HRIS, payroll, benchmarking tools or data visualisation is a plus.• You are eager to learn, client-focused and motivated to work in a multidisciplinary professional services environment.
