The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of modern data platforms, data warehouses, and Business Intelligence solutions that support analytical reporting and decision-making across complex environmental and climate-related domains. /p pWorking within an international and multicultural environment, you will play a key role in building scalable data pipelines, optimizing data architectures, enhancing reporting capabilities, and enabling data-driven insights through Microsoft Azure and Power BI technologies. /p h3What you'll do /h3 ul liDesign, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT processes and data orchestration workflows using Microsoft Azure services, Python, and SQL. /li liBuild and enhance Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), Data Lake, and Lakehouse solutions to support advanced analytics and reporting. /li liGather and analyze business requirements, transforming functional needs into robust technical solutions. /li liDesign conceptual, logical, and physical data models, including dimensional models and star/snowflake schemas. /li liDevelop and maintain Business Intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI, including dashboards, semantic models, KPIs, and self-service reporting capabilities. /li liOptimize database performance through query tuning, indexing, partitioning, and storage optimization strategies. /li liImplement data quality, monitoring, and observability frameworks to ensure trusted and reliable data assets. /li liDefine and execute testing activities, including data validation, regression testing, and CI/CD-integrated pipeline testing. /li liProduce and maintain technical documentation, including data dictionaries, lineage documentation, design specifications, and operational runbooks. /li liSupport deployments, configuration management, and version control processes using Git and Azure DevOps. /li liPerform ad hoc data analysis and reporting activities on complex datasets. /li liCollaborate with technical teams, stakeholders, and external partners in an agile delivery environment. /li liContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the adoption of innovative data and AI-driven capabilities. /li /ul h3What we're looking for /h3 ul liDegree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. /li liAt least 5 years of professional experience with Python for data engineering and data processing. /li liAt least 2 years of experience working with SQL and relational database technologies. /li liAt least 2 years of hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Factory. /li liAt least 2 years of experience with Microsoft Power BI and Business Intelligence solutions. /li liAt least 2 years of experience in data engineering, data management, analytics, and ETL/ELT development. /li liStrong knowledge of Azure cloud data services, including Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, and Microsoft Fabric. /li liSolid understanding of data warehouse architecture, dimensional modelling, and modern data platform concepts. /li liExperience with Power Query, DAX, semantic models, and self-service BI environments. /li liKnowledge of modern Data Lake/Lakehouse architectures and data quality best practices. /li liExperience with Git, Azure DevOps, and Agile delivery methodologies. /li liStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail. /li liAbility to work effectively both independently and within multicultural and multidisciplinary teams. /li liExcellent communication skills in English (minimum B2 level). /li liEU security clearance eligibility is required. /li liMicrosoft Azure Data Engineer, Power BI Data Analyst, Fabric Analytics Engineer, or equivalent certifications will be considered an asset. /li /ul h3bWhat
