Key Responsibilities
- Draft,review, negotiate and manage a broad range of commercial and operationalagreements supporting DIGI Belgium's activities.
- Providelegal support for telecommunications infrastructure projects, includingmobile and fiber network deployment initiatives.
- Providelegal advice on general corporate and commercial matters affecting thecompany's operations. Manage and support site acquisition activities,including the negotiation of commercial leases, easements, access rights,rights of way and other property-related agreements.
- Adviseon real estate and property law matters linked to telecommunicationsinfrastructure.
- Supportthe management of permits, planning authorizations and administrativeprocedures required for infrastructure deployment.
- Providelegal assistance in relation to facility management activities andinfrastructure operations.
- Supportprocurement teams through the negotiation and management of supplier,vendor and subcontractor agreements.
- Identify,assess and mitigate contractual, operational and legal risks across thebusiness.
- Managedisputes, claims and litigation matters in cooperation with externalcounsel when required.
- Overseepayment recovery matters and support debt collection procedures wherenecessary.
- Developand maintain contract templates, internal procedures and legal guidelinesto improve operational efficiency.
- Deliverpractical and solution-oriented legal advice aligned with businessobjectives.
Job Requirements
Must have qualities & talents
- BelgianMaster's Degree in Law.
- Minimum1 to 3 years of relevant legal experience gained within a reputable lawfirm and/or an in-house legal department.
- Strongexperience in contract law and commercial negotiations.
- Provenexperience drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex B2B agreements.
- Experiencein one or more of the following areas:
- Telecommunicationslaw;
- Realestate and property law;
- Infrastructureprojects;
- Litigationand dispute management;
- Corporatelaw.
- Knowledgeof commercial leases, easements, rights of way and site acquisitionprocesses is highly desirable.
- Experienceworking with vendors, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Familiaritywith permits, planning authorizations and infrastructure-relatedadministrative procedures is considered an asset.
- Excellentnegotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Abilityto work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-pacedenvironment.
- Fluencyin English and either Dutch or French.
- Strongbusiness acumen and pragmatic mindset.
- Solution-orientedand results-driven approach.
- Excellentstakeholder management and communication skills.
- Highlevel of integrity and professionalism.
- Proactive,autonomous and hands-on attitude.
