About the Role
As Payroll & Reward Manager, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing payroll operations and compensation frameworks across the organization. You will ensure accurate, compliant payroll processes while playing a key role in shaping our total rewards strategy in a fast‑growing SaaS environment.
Challenge
- Oversee end‑to‑end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local legislation with a focus on Belgium. Additionally, France & Tunis will also be part of your scope.
- Manage relationships with external payroll providers and relevant authorities.
- Design, implement, and maintain competitive compensation and benefits structures.
- Lead salary benchmarking, job grading, and annual compensation review cycles.
- Ensure compliance with labor law, tax regulations, and internal policies.
- Analyze payroll and compensation data to support strategic decision‑making.
- Contribute to HR projects related to growth, scalability, and international expansion.
Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in payroll and compensation, ideally in a fast scaling or tech‑driven environment.
- Strong knowledge of Belgian payroll legislation (knowledge of international payroll like French / Tunisian is a plus).
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with HRIS, payroll systems, and Excel.
- Proactive, structured, and able to work independently.
- Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus.
- Open to travel if required.
