IT Support Specialist
to join the IT support team of a prestigious
European Institution
based in Brussels.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within an international environment while developing your technical and customer support skills.
Your role
As part of the IT support team, you will help ensure that users have the tools and support they need to work efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
Troubleshooting hardware and software issues Installing and configuring laptops, desktops, peripherals and related equipment Supporting end users with IT incidents and service requests Performing maintenance and updates on IT equipment and applications Assisting with workstation setups, cabling and connectivity issues Running diagnostics and identifying the root cause of technical problems Maintaining accurate technical documentation and configuration records Contributing to a secure, reliable and efficient IT environment
What we're looking for
✔ At least 1 year of experience in IT Support, Helpdesk, Desktop Support or a similar role ✔ Good knowledge of: Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments Workstation and peripheral support Hardware and software troubleshooting ✔ Strong communication and customer service skills ✔ Ability to work independently and take ownership of issues ✔ Attention to detail and a proactive mindset ✔ Fluent English and French (minimum C1 level) ✔ Completed secondary school/high school/CESS
Nice to have
The following certifications are considered an asset but are not mandatory: Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate Google IT Support Professional Certificate Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) IT Helpdesk Professional Certification Other relevant desktop support or troubleshooting certifications
