It represents the Ageas Group towards external parties, managing relations with analysts, retail and institutional investors, regulators, rating agencies and the media.Your teamConsisting of 5 international members, the Modelling and Reporting Team acts as a competence/expertise centre within the Ageas Group Model Implementation Team, developing, maintaining and supporting complex calculation engines and related valuation tooling, as well as underlying business analysis and reporting processes, for Ageas-wide (international) business users. Their activities rely on Ageas-wide business specifications and requirements mainly stemming from regulatory reporting frameworks such as Solvency II. They support their international risk user community during their activities while using the valuation models and reporting processes. To strengthen the team, we are looking for a Risk Reporting Analyst & Modeller.your functionThe Risk Reporting Analyst & Modeller will design, build, test and document risk reporting solutions as well as automation and visualization of dashboards and reports, in order to support stakeholders needs or improve their user-experience in the context of usage of Ageas Group models and tools. Your responsibilities include among others: Assess, capture and translate business needs (e.g., regulatory changes in reporting requirements, user experience, process automation or data visualisation needs) into technical implementation requirements Process data coming from various Group models into comprehensible reports for business reporting frameworks such as Solvency II, to be used for analysis and reporting purposes by Ageas-wide (international) business users Proactively support the design and the use of the central database serving to generate the reports and define functional specifications as well as challenge and test the implemented solutions Create and maintain tooling to support and facilitate the use of the central database, including creation of reports and dashboards using BI tooling Align on a continuous basis with stakeholders on reporting requirements Provide support during UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and during official closing activities Contribute to the creation/review/presentation of UAT instructions, coordinate and follow-up the UAT Contribute to the design/development/documentation of risk valuation and analytics solutions as well as automation and visualization tools Your profile Familiarity with risk valuation frameworks in insurance (e.g., Solvency II, IFRS17,…) Strong understanding of data analysis and visualization principles Experience with RDBMS (SQL server and/or SQLite) and proficiency with SQL and/or DAX Experience with MS Power Platform, in particular development of Power BI reports and dashboards Basic proficiency in C# (.NET Core) programming You have an active knowledge of English - knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus You possess strong verbal and written communication skills You are proactive, flexible and able to work on an independent basis You can present complex materials in a structured and comprehensive way The following skills will be considered as a plus: Familiarity with R / Python / Matlab programming Familiarity with actuarial stochastic valuation software (e.g., R3S, Prophet, ReMetrica,…) Familiarity with the SCRUM agile framework Familiarity with MS Azure platform Our offer?
