Divisional Risk and Control Analyst

**Job description**

Deutsche Bank is actively looking for a Divisional Regulatory, Risk and Control Analyst.

The Divisional Regulatory, Risk and Control Analyst provides data analysis, identifies and evaluates potential areas of non-compliance or risk, assessing impact, probability and defined risk tolerance and presents findings and proposals for risk mitigation measures. The Divisional Regulatory, Risk and Control Analyst is responsible for supporting the delivery of the risk and control initiatives. This includes participation in risk and control activities, risk-based control reporting of key issues, performance and validation of cyclical activities such as annual control self-assessments. It may also include control testing, incident research, remediation and other ad hoc control initiatives and projects. Working closely with teams in and out of the division to understand risks impacting the group

You will also be responsible for assisting in the audit planning, fieldwork and reporting of assurance and advisory engagements, communicating findings and recommendations to management, and staying current on risks and controls specific to a set portfolio of responsibilities

**Key Accountabilities**
- Point of contact for Risk and Control related topics for external and internal teams (External audit - Group Audit - Central Risk Team - BCO - IT Teams - IT Management)
- Following up status of ongoing risk & control related programs / participate in audit status calls
- Provide support in scope of all Finding Management Lifecycle events
- Follow-up R&C items and inform / discuss with local management in regular meetings & reports
- Meeting with management and stakeholders to discuss findings and audit outcomes
- Assisting in the auditing process as and when required
- Submitting audits and reports in a timely manner for further analysis by management
- Remaining up to date with developments in relevant legislation and the field in general
- Reporting auditing issues assigned to IT and assisting in resolving them

**Key Profile & Competencies**
- Degree in Business, Economics or Computer Science.
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in a similar type of function and a proven track record of at least 10 years in IT / business within a large organization;
- Deep knowledges of DB processes and business in a plus
- Experienced in audit, risk and control areas
- Ambitious and highly motivated professional with excellent interpersonal skills and self-confidence
- Hands-on team player with ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of personnel within the organization
- Quick learner, strong analytical and reasoning skills with great attention to details
- Multi-tasker who can meet tight deadlines and solve problems in time sensitive environment
- Hands on experience with SDLC tools such as GFMS, ServiceNow, Confluence, JIRA, Sharepoint or equivalent process tools
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with team culture
- Customer-focused in every aspect of the job
- Willing to continue to learn and pickup new information quickly
- Highly motivated to work in a challenging environment
- Team player
- Proven communication skills in both technical and business language
- Fluent in English and French or Dutch.
