Your journey with us We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Strategy Leader with a strong background in Finance and/or Tax processes and understanding of related technologies. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, be a pro-active and strategic thinker, and have a deep understanding of the business environment and the role(s) different stakeholders play. Responsibilities: Have quality discussions with clients on Tax operations, including direct and indirect tax processes and related SSC processes; demonstrating creativity combined with strong industry knowledge Support the client in determining its related strategy and defining the right set of initiatives & projects to execute upon this strategy Lead our offering solutions around Tax process reviews, setting up Tax SSC, process standardization, work alongside automation team specialists, etc. Position Deloitte solutions to support process optimization, such as e-ITC (our Deloitte indirect tax compliance solution) Play an active role in business development activities, supporting the growth of our Tax Strategy offering and footprint in the industry Independently deliver engagements, including leading the approach, liaising with stakeholders, and directing activities of the project team Coach and develop more junior resources on projects and business development activities Let's talk about you Master or MBA degree from a reputable university 10+ years of experience in Finance and/or Tax processes, with a proven track record of success Previous work experience at a top consultancy practice, strategy house, or in change management roles within the financial services industry Proven track record in dealing with growth and performance management strategies such as market expansion, customer insights, profitability management, etc. Insightful thinker, confident with concepts, analysis, and frameworks Ability to plan, structure, and prepare client-ready work Exceptional communicator with the ability to articulate complex ideas to C-levels of an organization, and effectively lead and manage all key stakeholders Experienced team and project leader with an enthusiastic, positive, 'can do' attitude Strong commercial acumen and market awareness Fluent in English and Dutch and/or French
