Your role and the team
Delen Private Bank is looking for a medior applied data scientist/analyst to join its Data, Analytics and Reporting team (DAR team).
The DAR team is dedicated to accelerating Delen Private Banks' growth through harnessing data. Whilst part of the team focuses on Reporting and Data Architecture and governance, this role will be more focussed on analytics. That being said, all colleagues within the DAR team are flexible and assist where need be.
As a Data Analyst/Sciencist you will collaborate closely with all stakeholders across deferent departments and act as an in-house analytics consultant.
Your job will consist of contributing to strategic planning, providing valuable insights and drive or assist various data-driven initiatives.
Every project is a collaborative effort with the DAR team and business stakeholders. This means you'll engage in a wide range of projects ranging from BI development (Powerbi), analytics engineering to assisting in production machine learning projects. For example, one month, you might assist the development of an internal report for the board of directors, and the next, you could be conducting a churn analysis for our sales support team.
As part of the DAR team you'll jump between Data and analytics engineering, whilst acting as a business consultant. To do so, you will work with the latest tech stack (airflow, databricks, DBT, PowerBi etc) to apply diverse analytical methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Project scoping with business stakeholders. Understanding the business need and translating to an analytical approach Data preparation in collaboration with our data engineers. Applying descriptive, predictive and if needed prescriptive analytics. Project range from One-offs to continuous analytics Visualize and present your findings to your stakeholdersYour Profile:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
A university degree in Business Engineering, Business & Information Systems, Economics, or an equivalent field. > 2 years of experience in data analytics Solid experience in SQL & Python (prior experience DBT is a plus) Knowledge of analytics tools like Power BI, Databricks, and Azure (considered a plus). Pro-active attitude You get energy from helping the business as a go to data and analytics expert A strong passion for data and analytics, along with a strong desire to learn Fluency in Dutch, French Or English (proficiency in at least two languages is a must) Team playerWhat we offer
