In de directie Risk van AXA Belgium in Brussel zijn we op zoek naar een Actuaris of Wetenschappelijk profiel voor het team P&C Risk Management.

Als Risk Actuary geef je tweedelijnsadvies over de belangrijke businessbeslissingen in verzekering niet-leven. Je ontwikkelt ook een precieze en regelmatige opvolging van de reserves. Je draagt bij tot de modellering en de berekening gekoppeld aan de solvabiliteit door toe te zien op de naleving van de guidelines en de opvolging van de risicoindicatoren.

Je belangrijkste klanten zijn dan ook de businessteams, zowel wat Retail Lines en Commercial Lines, als de luiken product, pricing, reserving ... betreft maar ook de Nationale Bank van België. Je werkt ook samen met de teams die zich bezighouden met de herverzekering, maar ook met sommige Risk-teams die gevestigd zijn bij de Groep in Parijs (GRM).

Je belangrijkste taken zijn:

Je geeft een tweede opinie over businessbeslissingen genomen door de eerste lijn (nieuw product, wijziging van de algemene voorwaarden, herziening van de pricing ...) en je doet de follow-up. Je ontwikkelt een strikte opvolging van de evolutie van de reserves, in de tweede lijn ten opzichte van de business, om aan het management te garanderen dat AXA Belgium vlot zijn contractuele verplichtingen nakomt, door middel van specifieke tools (zoals IBNRS). Je werkt mee aan de kalibrering van de risico's P&C (reserves, premies, rampen, ...) in de context van de berekening van het vereiste kapitaal, wetende dat AXA een van de enige verzekeringsmaatschappijen ter wereld is die over een intern model beschikt. Je onderhoudt en verbetert de algoritmen voor de berekening van de vereiste solvabiliteitskapitalen voor P&C, overeenkomstig Solvency II (uitgevoerd via ReMetrica). Je berekent, analyseert en communiceert over de resultaten gegenereerd door de solvabiliteitsmodellen op rijke en complexe takken zoals Motor, Woning, of Arbeidsongevallen en Invaliditeit. Je ondersteunt het herverzekeringsdepartement voor specifieke vragen of hernieuwingen van verdragen, en je geeft een opinie over het herverzekeringsprogramma. Je werkt mee aan workshops georganiseerd tussen de verschillende Riskteams van de entiteiten van de AXA Groep over belangrijke P&C-thema's. Je implementeert de remediërings- en testplannen van onze interne en externe revisoren (actuariële functie, audit, regulator). Je draagt bij tot de financiële en regelgevende reporting van de maatschappij (QRTs, ORSA, SFCR, RSR, jaarverslag). Je stelt je resultaten op een gepaste manier voor aan de betrokken partijen (Finance, Product Management, Risk Management, ALM, Risicocomités). Je volgt de evoluties van de verzekeringssector en je beoordeelt de mogelijke impact op de financiële gezondheid van AXA Belgium.Je ziet erop toe dat de guidelines van de Groep worden nageleefd door de business. Je hebt een kwantitatieve opleiding gevolgd (Master in wiskunde, statistiek, actuariaat, handelsingenieur, economie ...) Je hebt een goede kennis van de doelstellingen en de mechaniek achter Solvency II, de key performance indicators voor de verzekeringsproducten P&C (combined ratio, sinistraliteitsratio, reserveringsniveau …) en de herverzekeringsprincipes. Je hebt een eerste ervaring in de modellering van de risico's P&C. Je kan snel een grondige kennis verwerven van nieuwe tools en technieken. Je geeft blijk van een kritische geest, je stelt dingen in vraag en teamgeest is belangrijk voor jou. Je praat vlot Nederlands of Frans en hebt een goed niveau in het Engels. Je bent nieuwsgierig, ruimdenkend en je hebt uitstekende communicatievaardigheden, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk. Je bent in staat om een constante kwaliteit te verzekeren en om vertrouwen te wekken in de gerapporteerde cijfers en verklaringen. Over AXA
