Headhunter - Manager & Principal Recruiter (Executive positions) - Finance, Legal, Risk and Compliance - Belgium - GENTISOur client is a prestigious international insurance looking for a new Actuary. In their actuary department, they are looking for a new actuary to work on a new and exciting project.
As an Actuary Expert, you will be a key member of the team, primarily focused on implementing the IFRS17 solution, the new accounting standard for insurance contracts. This role involves:
- Acquiring a deep understanding of IFRS17 accounting standards and applying them to the characteristics of Life insurance products
- Contributing to the development and documentation of the IFRS17 solution in Life reporting tools
- Actively participating in the creation of profitability indicators essential for effective financial communication
- Establishing, validating, and controlling technical reporting in IFRS accounting standards for Life products
- Preparing the notes to the financial statements (Disclosures)
- Preparing forecast accounts (Budget, Strategic Plan)
- Analyzing, commenting on, and monitoring the evolution of results
Your Profile:
- You are an Actuary or have equivalent experience
- You have more than 3 years of experience in Life insurance or financial reporting
- You are fluent in Dutch or French, with a strong knowledge of English
- You deliver results efficiently, autonomously, and pragmatically while meeting deadlines
- You have strong analytical skills and the ability to take initiative
