Plant Controller

GC Corporation was founded in 1921 in Japan and has developed itself into one of the most prominent companies in the development, production and distribution of a very wide range of dental products. Since 1972 GC Europe NV, our European Headquarter is located at the Researchpark Haasrode in Leuven (Belgium). GC Europe NV supports and leads our different sales offices and dealers. Our warehouse spreads our products to Europe and the Middle East. We are currently looking for a: Plant Controller  (we are also open to freelancer for a period of 6 months) Main Responsibilities: Be the responsible Plant Controller for the Manufacturing entity in Leuven, whereas you will report to the FP&A EMEA manager and dotted to the plant manager. Financial Planning & Analysis: Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis to optimize profitability. Cost Control: Monitoring production costs, monthly/quarterly and yearly costing, identifying areas for cost savings, and improving efficiency. Settlement of production order variances: TECO remaining orders, Overhead calculation, BOM, WIP, Variance analyses, Corrections, CLSD or orders & treating collective orders. Accounting & Reporting: Collaborate with FP&A manager for accurate financial reporting, PCA report, balance sheets, and supporting audits. Compliance & Risk Management: Making sure financial operations comply with manufacturing/local regulations and minimizing financial risks. Operational Support: Collaborating with other departments & plant manager to align financial strategies with operational goals. Inventory & Capital Management: Managing assets, capital expenditures, and inventory valuation. Strategic Decision-Making: Providing financial insights to plant manager & FP&A manager for business growth. Maintaining, optimizing and initiating controlling/production monthly KPI’s. Setting-up new controlling processes and set-up the new production building from a plant controlling financial perspective. SAP responsible for financial controlling within the production facility.  Requirements: SAP expert (mandatory) Dutch (mother tongue) English (business language) Roll up sleeve’s mentality & hands-on Ability to work independently in connection with the Business. Comfortable with setting-up a new production facility an implementing new controlling process.
