IT Security Solutions Architect

The Opportunity
As an IT Security Solution Architect at TCR, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and validating security solutions to safeguard our organization's information systems and assets. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, security coordinator, and other stakeholders, fostering close collaboration and steering the implementation partners to ensure that our security infrastructure is robust, scalable, and aligned with industry best practices.

Security Solution Design:
- Lead the design and architecture of security solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and align with the overall IT strategy.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand security needs and translate them into effective and efficient security solutions.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating security risks.
Standards and Procedures:
- Develop and implement security standards and procedures to guide the organization in maintaining a secure and compliant environment.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance security standards.
Project Collaboration and Partner Steering:
- Act as a key technical resource during security projects, providing expertise on security architecture, design and validation.
- Collaborate closely with implementation partners, ensuring their work aligns with the organization's security goals and standards.
- Provide guidance and steering to implementation partners throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead the evaluation and selection of technology solutions that best meet business requirements.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure a smooth handover of projects to other teams or colleagues.
Security Coordination:
- Work closely with the security coordinator to identify and address security concerns and incidents promptly.
- Take ownership in developing incident response plans and participate in security incident investigations.
Roadmap Development and Maintenance:
- Develop short- to mid-term infrastructure project roadmaps aligned with business objectives and the overall enterprise architecture roadmap in close collaboration with the Security Coordinator
- Regularly update and maintain roadmaps to reflect changes in technology and business priorities.
Documentation and Training:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to security designs, standards, and procedures.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal teams and implementation partners on security best practices and procedures.
We are looking for an individual who:
Qualifications:
Has a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP are preferred.
Has a proven experience as an IT Security Solution Architect or similar role, with a focus on designing and implementing security solutions in Microsoft based environments.
Has a deep understanding of security principles, frameworks, and best practices, including but not limited to network security, identity and access management, encryption, endpoint security, and cloud security.
Has experience with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), endpoint protection platforms (EPP), security information and event management (SIEM), and data loss prevention (DLP).
Has strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Has proven track record of successfully architecting and implementing security solutions in enterprise environments.
Is fluent in English, both oral and written (knowledge of Dutch or French is a strong asset)
