The role is based in Belgium and is part of the Benelux finance team.In this role, you will be responsible for key areas such as the General Ledger, compliance reporting, and will actively support the migration of our current ERP system, Navision, to JD Edwards (JDE).YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESDaily / Weekly:Process bank statements in Navision.Perform AR matching.Run weekly payment cycles and handle direct debits.Monthly:Prepare monthly closing and group reporting uploads.Submit Dutch VAT ICP, Intrastat, deposit (Statiegeld), and free bottles reports.Manage factoring and cash pooling activities, submit liquidity reports Reconcile general ledger accounts and perform regular balance sheet reviewsPrepare and submit intercompany reconciliation reports.Quarterly / Annually:Submit quarterly VAT returns.Support the annual dividend distribution process.Ad Hoc:Respond to audit queries (tax, statutory, transfer pricing).Handle administrative tasks related the Dutch entities (DoA, Chamber of commerce etc.)Implement and document processes and internal controlsProvide reporting support to sales and key account managers.YOUR PROFILEBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar.5+ years of experience in a comparable role.Good understanding of Dutch VAT and compliance rules.Experience with Navision is preferred; JDE experience is a plus.Strong Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, VLOOKUP).Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English; French is a plus.Sounds good?Then join our convivial team at Pernod Ricard Belgium.
