Job titleWarehouse Operations Manager – Global DistributionRole purposeThe Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day inbound and outbound logistics operations at the Global Distribution Center, leading a team of 5 Logistics Coordinators (2 outbound, 3 inbound). Reporting to the ZED (ZOETIS European Distribution) Logistics Lead, this role ensures timely and accurate product receipt and dispatch, while maintaining compliance with inventory reconciliation, SOX controls, packaging material tracking, and destruction protocols.This is a hands-on leadership role within a global logistics framework, focused on execution and team development. The position requires close coordination with supplying sites, market logistics teams, customer service, and a network of international supply chain partners and carriers.It is ideally suited for professionals with a proven track record in leading high-performing teams and with 5–8 years of experience in warehouse or distribution center operations, preferably within a multinational environment.Supervisor / reports to Global Logistics – ZED Logistics LeaderEssential duties / RESPONSIBILITIESJob AccountabilityTeam LeadLead and manage daily operations of a team of 5 logistics coordinators, ensuring timely and high-quality execution at the ZOM Regional Distribution Center.Provide the team with the necessary tools, resources, and support to perform their tasks efficiently and effectively.Drive continuous improvement by actively participating in operational enhancement projects and ensuring successful implementation within the team.Ensure team objectives are met and deadlines are respected through proactive coordination with global supply chain partners.Coach, mentor, and develop team members to strengthen individual capabilities and overall team performance.Performance ManagementMonitor and report on standard weekly/monthly KPIs to provide operational visibility and performance insights to the business.Identify opportunities to enhance systems, processes, and overall logistics performance.Leverage supply and demand insights, along with historical sales and inventory data, to develop accurate forecasts that support warehouse capacity planning.Collaborate with Supply Chain and Quality Operations teams to ensure full compliance with EU GDP regulations and Zoetis standards.Accountability & Related ActivitiesFacilitate effective top-down and bottom-up communication through regular team meetings.Provide management with clear updates on team performance and progress against defined objectives.Immediately escalate any identified EHS-related risks to ensure timely resolution and compliance.Collaborate proactively with peers to identify and implement operational improvements.Decision making/Governance.Periodic SOX controls: Accountability on compliant operationsPeople manager :Resource allocation in line with needs & budget.Hold team members accountable for performance & compliance.Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor / master’s degree in supply chain, Business AdministrationMin once a week travel to our warehouse in the Netherlands is required.Full time
