We are experts in designing, manufacturing, maintaining, and upgrading large and complex elements for aircraft and space launchers.  In Brussels, we have our Structural and Mechatronics Engineering offices, where all our new programs begin and our workshops are equipped with modern machines that produce complex metallic assemblies for aircraft and space launchers as well as advanced Thrust Vectoring Systems for space launchers. SABCA Brussels is also the home to our "Unmanned Autonomous Systems" aka: the drones solutions unit Your Mission As a Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of non-production goods and services while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. You will play a key role in cost optimization, supplier management, and maintaining quality and environmental standards (EN, ISO ). Your Responsibilities ✅ Oversee the procurement process for assigned categories, ensuring business continuity ✅ Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders ✅ Lead strategic negotiations and optimize contracts based on business needs ✅ Analyze market trends and procurement data to enhance performance ✅ Manage indirect procurement projects and oversee tenders ✅ Ensure adherence to company policies and industry best practices ✅ Share knowledge and expertise with new team members to foster a culture of continuous learning Your Profile 🎓 Education: University degree in procurement, supply chain, engineering, or equivalent 📅 Experience: At least 5 years in procurement, with 3+ years as a Category Manager or Procurement Officer 💡 Key Skills: Strong negotiation and supplier management expertise Cost analysis and procurement optimization Excellent command of MS Office and S4H Analytical mindset, organizational skills, and attention to detail Team player with the ability to influence stakeholders Fluent in Dutch and English (French is a plus) So, What’s in it for you?
