ARE YOU UP FOR THE CHALLENGE? We want you to be a part of our team, from Brussels, as a Data Warehouse and Reporting Developer. WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR DAY-TO-DAY? Enterprise Data Warehouse Development: Design, develop, and maintain EDW solutions to support organizational data needs. Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for data warehousing and reporting. ETL Process Design: Develop and optimize Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to ensure accurate and timely data integration. Data Modeling: Create and maintain data models that support analytical and reporting requirements. Reporting Application Development: Design and develop reporting applications using tools like Qlik Sense to facilitate data-driven decision-making. Database Design and Performance: Conduct physical database design and performance analysis to optimize data storage and retrieval. Data Quality Monitoring: Implement data quality and health monitoring mechanisms to ensure data integrity. Testing and Documentation: Develop test programs and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for data warehouse processes. Deployment Support: Assist in the deployment and configuration of data warehouse systems. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate in meetings with other project teams to ensure alignment and integration of data solutions. WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU? Experience: Minimum of 11 years of professional experience in data warehousing and business intelligence, excluding university studies. Data Warehouse Expertise: Extensive knowledge of data warehouse design, architecture, and relational database systems. BI Tools Proficiency: Proficient in business intelligence reporting tools, with mandatory expertise in Qlik Sense. ETL Tools: Strong experience with ETL tools for data integration. Modeling Tools: Familiarity with data modeling tools to design efficient data structures. Analytical Tools: Good knowledge of Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) and data mining tools. Technical Skills and Tools Business Intelligence: Qlik Sense (mandatory), Business Objects. Version Control and Development: Experience with Atlassian tools, GitHub, and ServiceNow. Methodologies: Familiarity with PM², PM² Agile, Kanban, and Scrum methodologies. DevSecOps and CI/CD: Foundational knowledge in DevSecOps practices and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes (mandatory). Additional Requirements Work Location: Consultants are required to work onsite in Brussels, Belgium, three days a week (Mondays and Thursdays are mandatory).
