Job DescriptionFreelance Project Manager (Product Launch) in Financial ServicesAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of a new cyber product within the financial services sector. This freelance role requires a proven track record in managing complex projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.The successful candidate will oversee all stages of the launch lifecycle — from planning and execution to monitoring, reporting, and stakeholder management.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the planning, coordination, and execution of a new product launch in the financial services industry.Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, including timelines, resources, and budgets.Facilitate effective communication across product, marketing, compliance, technology, and operations teams.Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies, proactively addressing obstacles to ensure successful delivery.Prepare regular status updates, reports, and presentations for stakeholders and leadership.Ensure all project activities align with regulatory and compliance requirements.Drive post-launch reviews, capturing lessons learned and identifying opportunities for process improvements.RequirementsRequirementsProven experience as a Project Manager in financial services (banking, fintech, insurance, or asset management).Strong track record in product launch management or delivering customer-facing initiatives.Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including working with senior executives.Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project, Asana, or similar).Understanding of regulatory and compliance considerations in financial services.Ability to work independently as a freelancer/contractor, managing workload and deadlines effectively.Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum Master) is desirableBenefitsWhat We OfferCompetitive freelance day rate / project-based compensation.Opportunity to deliver a high-profile product launch in the financial services sector.Flexible, remote-first working environment.Chance to collaborate with an innovative and driven team.
