Als General Accounting Manager geef je leiding aan een team van een 7-tal professionals binnen General Accounting en werk je samen met interne en externe partners aan het leveren van hoogwaardige financiële diensten. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het stroomlijnen van processen, het aansturen van transformaties en het garanderen van compliance binnen een internationale context.Als General Accounting Manager ben je verantwoordelijk voor: Strategisch leiderschap op btw en reconciliaties Je bewaakt de naleving van btw-wetgeving (waaronder Intrastat) en zorgt voor nauwkeurige reconciliaties. Je signaleert kansen voor automatisering, standaardisatie en procesverbetering. Governance & compliance Je waarborgt een solide interne controleomgeving, volledig in lijn met SOX-vereisten en interne beleidslijnen. Je minimaliseert risico's door governance in alle dagelijkse processen te verankeren. Project- & changemanagement Je leidt belangrijke initiatieven zoals systeemupgrades en procesverbeteringen. Als echte changemanager stimuleer je een cultuur van continue verbetering en innovatie. People leadership & talentontwikkeling Je bouwt aan een krachtig en betrokken team dat zich blijft ontwikkelen. Via coaching, onboarding, prestatiemanagement en opvolgingsplanning geef je richting en inspiratie. Prestatieanalyse & rapportage Je volgt KPI's en SLA's op en vertaalt data naar strategische inzichten. Zo verbeter je prestaties en zorg je voor afstemming op de bredere bedrijfsdoelstellingen. Een Master- of bacheloropleiding in Financiën of Accountancy. Ijzersterke ervaring binnen finance, waarvan enkele jaren in een leidinggevende rol. Dynamisch met sterke drive en ondernemende mindstet. Ijzersteke people management skills. Aansturen + hands-on mentaliteit. Een analytische geest en een sterk besluitvormend vermogen Vloeiend Engels in woord en geschrift Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden en het vermogen om anderen mee te nemen in change. Ervaring met Microsoft Office (SAP is een pluspunt) Een aantrekkelijk bruto jaarsalaris, afhankelijk van eerder aantoonbare werkervaring. Bedrijfswagen met tankkaart.
