Vos missions Great assignments await you with our key account clients in rich and varied environmentsFor one of the largest and most mission critical customers, we supplies and maintains an extremely modern, state-of-the-art technology infrastructure that is deployed for the benefit of the ultimate end users, who use it 24/7/ in a mission-critical context. This team works during normal business hours from the HQ in Brussels (next to North station), as well as at customer locations (central data centers or satellite offices spread across Belgium).A 24/7 on-call service is also provided for urgent incidents with major end-user impact.We are looking for an expert systems engineer to strengthen our team. Main responsibilities:Manage and maintain end-user and data center systems.Identifying and solving technical problems and providing support in case of incidents, both on site and remotelyPerform preventive maintenance tasks at satellite offices spread across Belgium on-site as well as remotely.Perform 3nd level support in rotation at customer HQ.Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to implement projects and improve systems.Contribute to the implementation of new technological solutions that meet the needs of the organization.Spotting and developing automation (by mean of scripting) opportunities to achieve efficiency improvementsEnsure security and protection of systems and data.Documenting technical specifications, procedures and processes.Monitoring market trends and new technologies to keep systems up to date. You have the following skills:Very good knowledge of Dutch and French (mandatory) + EnglishDemonstrable experience as a Workplace Engineer, System Engineer or similar positions.Experience in system automation/scripting/devops/middleware/virtualisation.Knowledge and experience with one or more technologies in use in the environment: VMWare, Nutanix, MS Windows Server, MS Windows, Powershell, NetApp storage...Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve incidents under SLA.You are able to read, create and implement technical designs.You are a positive team player who can independently set priorities and deliver results within set timelines.Given the regular customer contact, a positive customer focus and attitude is also an indispensable characteristic.You have a good understanding of contemporary network and security standards.Willing to learn on the job, upskill and upskill L1/L2 profiles.Open mindset for Mission Critical activities.In addition, you will be subject to an NVO security screening. To be eligible for this, you must be domiciled in Belgium for at least 5 years and have proof of good conduct and morals.
