Scope: Implementation of end-to-end data use cases for customers

You are a team player and have no trouble communicating clearly and openly with your colleagues. A little French? Of course Can you speak Dutch? Wees maar zeker Living and working in Belgium means that you speak at least English with French or Dutch on a daily basis.
Your thirst for learning keeps you up to date on the latest developments in the world of data and analytics. Your passion for all things technology and innovation is a must in conversations with both technical and business people.
When you interact with people, they finally understand what they are talking about when they say words like "Data Driven", "Cloud Migration", "Data Warehousing" or "Advanced Analytics".
About the position
What will you do?
As a Data Engineer, you will implement end-to-end data use cases for our customers, under the supervision of the solution architect. As such, you will collect business requirements, model the solution and implement it in the Cloud in an agile manner.
You will contribute to the development of the AWS Center of Excellence by proposing new approaches, solutions or tools and help detect opportunities at our customers. You will be actively trained and coached to become autonomous on all these tasks.

About you
As a Data Engineer, you have basic experience/knowledge in the following areas:
- business intelligence and data warehousing
- big data and NoSQL technologies
- data analysis and visualization
- databases, data analysis and advanced SQL techniques
- data integration, ETL, ELT, streaming and event-based approaches
- data modeling (3NF, Data Vault, Dimensional)
Knowledge of AWS services is a plus, with a focus on PAAS components for data and analytics. However, this is not an essential criterion, as Micropole will also provide consulting and training in this area.
We are recruiting high level consultants. You have:
- A master's degree in computer science, engineering, management or equivalent.
- At least 8 years ofexperience designing and building solutions around data, analytics or ML.
- A thirst for learning and progress, innovation naturally interests you. You are aware of the latest technological trends.
- Excellent communication skills and enjoy being part of an agile team.
- Communication skills that allow you to talk easily with both techies and industry people.
- The ability to demystify data issues, architectures, capabilities and technologies.
- Facility in language skills and speak at least: French or Dutch and English.
