R&D Manager Chocolate Join our passionate R&D team as R&D manager chocolate at our site Belcolade (Erembodegem). Lead dynamic projects in product development, optimization, and scale-ups at our Belgian chocolate production hub. Join the Puratos magic and become an expert in chocolate. Key Accountabilities You lead business development activities (60%): You support on product development and improvement, for customer projects and products for the general market (innovation) You support customer visits, at the customer and at Belcolade, for business development, protection of business at risk and for technical support In cooperation with the BU Real Chocolate: you take care of the implementation of specific research projects on the production site of Belcolade You support and advice operations at Belcolade (30%): You support feasibility studies, implementation of new processes and the launch of new production lines. You support on processing improvement, cost reduction, raw materials screening and selection. You create competence building (10%): You support to projects on real chocolate with research institutions, universities and suppliers. You participate in the organization of trainings for R&D and business development teams Who are we looking for? You have a Master's degree in a scientific study and experience in an R&D or process environment. Experience in the food industry is a plus. You gained knowledge of the range of products, raw materials and processes in food, preferably in chocolate. You have high quality working standards with an communicative and proactive approach As project manager, you are a natural multitasker: you are able to implement several projects at the same time You thrive on Team work and can also take the lead autonomously Why should you join Puratos?
