Job DescriptionAs the Senior Project Manager based in our office in Leuven, you will lead and deliver strategic projects and programs that align with our organisational goals. Your role is pivotal in ensuring projects follow the TOMRA Food Project Model, and are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Project Leadership:Plan, execute, and deliver projects and programs within the Global Solutions portfolio.Ensure projects align with TOMRA Food's expectations and the TOMRA Food Project model.Deliver large, complex projects on time, within budget, and to the agreed quality standards.Schedule and coordinate resources within the defined project scope.Make project-related decisions in line with the approved project management plan.Manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.Monitor progress, manage budgets, and provide regular updates on status, risks and performance.Prepare and deliver monthly project reports for the Steering Group (SG) meetings, including required decisions and updates.Ensure key decisions are pre-aligned with stakeholders ahead of SG meetings.Regularly update assigned projects on the TOMRA Project Portal to ensure visibility.Operational Excellence:Follow the Global Solutions resource allocation process and serve as a role model in its application.Own and refine specific components of the TOMRA Food Project Model and TOMRA Food Project Academy.Provide actionable feedback to drive continuous improvement across processes and tools.Team Collaboration & Development:Mentor and coach other Project Managers, promoting a culture of learning and professional growth.Contribute to the performance review process by providing constructive feedback to core team members.Support the efficient initiation of projects in line with the TOMRA Food Project model, before the official project start.Ensure effective and seamless handovers at project closure.Foster collaboration across departments and geographies with a solution-oriented mindset.QualificationsAbout You:Degree in a relevant field (BSc, MSc, MBA).10+ years of project management experience, preferably in a technology- or product-driven international organisation.Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2).Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, cross-functional, international projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.5+ years in leadership or managerial roles with a focus on building and guiding efficient teams.Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.Demonstrated ability to manage complexity and drive results in global project environments.Skilled at aligning and inspiring cross-functional teams to meet shared objectives.Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.Strategic and analytical thinker with the ability to synthesise complex information.Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.Willingness and ability to travel up to 30 days per year, both domestically and internationally.Flexibility to work across multiple time zones and cultures.Additional InformationWhy Work for Us?At TOMRA Food, we offer a long-term career.
