And together, we will redefine success.Role purposeTo sustain its growth, A&O Shearman LLP Belgium is currently looking for an Associate for our Employment & Compensation practice, to be located in Antwerp or Brussels.Our Belgian Employment & Compensation team offers our clients strategic and practical solutions on a wide range of technical, complex and sensitive HR-related issues. We are seamlessly integrated into the global employment and compensation practice and the full-service offering of our firm. We cover all aspects of employment, pension and compensation matters, both contentious and non-contentious, and have specific expertise in workplace investigations, executive compensation, restructuring and collective bargaining, pensions and employee benefits.Who we are looking for You obtained a Belgian Master in Law with outstanding academic results; You have 2-5 years of experience in the employment team of a reputable firm;You have an excellent command of Dutch and English (written and spoken) and a good command of French; You are a team player with excellent legal capabilities, you have an entrepreneurial spirit and good communication skills. Rewards & BenefitsYou will be a part of a well-integrated team that works on high profile Belgian and international matters;We offer a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to be a part of a leading international law firm;We make a long-term commitment towards our lawyers.
