The role offers the opportunity to advise Belgian and international clients on a full spectrum of employment law matters, from day-to-day advisory to complex disputes and litigation.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvise clients on employment law, HR policies, and employee relations mattersSupport contentious matters, including litigation and dispute resolution before Belgian courtsAssist clients on cross-border employment matters and restructuringsDraft contracts, policies, and other employment-related documentationKeep clients informed of legal and regulatory developments in employment lawSupport partners on high-profile and complex projectsQualificationsBelgium-qualified lawyer with 2–4 years of post-qualification experienceSolid experience in employment law, either in a law firm or in-houseExperience with both advisory and contentious employment mattersStrong academic background in lawRequired SkillsNative Dutch speaker, fluent in English; good command of French is a plusStrong analytical, drafting, and problem-solving skillsProactive, pragmatic, and client-focusedTeam player with excellent interpersonal skillsInterest in working on complex, cross-border mattersWhy Join Bird & Bird?Work in an international, high-performing environment with top-tier employment law expertsBe part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team in BrusselsGain hands-on experience with high-profile employment law mattersHow to ApplyIf you are ready to take the next step in your career, please send your CV and cover letter to:jennifer.laforgia@twobirds.com
