What your future may hold As a managing associate / counsel Employment law at ALTIUS, you will: Advise diverse Belgian and international clients on all aspects of employment law, with a focus on day-to-day HR support; Handle complex legal issues and collaborate closely with (senior) colleagues and partners; Take a leading role in advising clients and managing cases autonomously; Be part of a team with a very strong reputation, especially for handling cross border employment, service agreements, collective labour law, collective dismissals, the employment law consequences of the winding-up of companies and employment law litigation; Supervise and mentor junior colleagues, ensuring high-quality work and fostering their development; Serve as a trusted advisor and key support to the partners, acting as their “right-hand”. You have at least 8 years of experience as an employment lawyer, ideally in a similar practice; You have gained deep expertise and profound insights in employment law; You hold a Belgian Master’s in Law. An LL.M. in Social Law is considered a plus; Fluency in Dutch is essential, paired with an excellent proficiency in English and proficiency in French, suitable for daily use in a business environment; Excellent writing skills and a pragmatic and hands-on approach; You are motivated by the opportunity to take on an expert role within a collaborative team; The ability to coordinate a team and coach junior team members.
