Overview We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor/Contracts Manager to lead all commercial and contractual activities on our mission-critical data center construction project in Belgium. This role manages project costs, contracts administration, and commercial risk across multiple high value work packages. Responsibilities Manage commercial aspects of multiple construction contracts including design-build, MEP packages, and critical infrastructureLead cost control, budgeting, and financial reporting for all project work packages Administer contract variations, change orders, and extension of time claimsCoordinate monthly payment applications, progress valuations, and final account settlementsManage procurement processes ensuring compliance with EU procurement regulations and data center industry standardsLead commercial risk identification, mitigation, and claims resolutionInterface with client commercial teams, contractors, and technology suppliersProvide commercial guidance to Construction Manager and technical specialistsPrepare and present commercial reports to Project Director Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related fieldChartered membership (RICS, CIOB) or equivalent European qualification preferred8-12 years commercial management experience on major construction projects worthProven experience with data centre, critical infrastructure, or high-tech facility constructionExpertise in contract administration (FIDIC, NEC4, or similar standard forms)Strong cost control, budgeting, and financial forecasting capabilitiesExperience with EU procurement regulations and tender processesKnowledge of construction law, variations, and dispute resolution proceduresAbility to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and critical systems documentationStrong negotiation skills and commercial acumenExcellent analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesProven ability to manage commercial relationships with multiple technology and construction stakeholdersFluency in Dutch advantageous
