Your journey with us Role Overview: As the Senior Manager for AI and Data in the Banking Sector at Deloitte, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our footprint within the banking industry. Leveraging your deep expertise in both banking operations and consulting, coupled with a profound technical understanding of data and AI, you will lead the delivery of strategic projects, develop and introduce specialized offerings, and contribute to the overall growth of our banking business. Key Responsibilities: Lead and oversee the delivery of AI and data projects within the banking sector, ensuring high-quality delivery that meets client expectations and drives impactful results. Identify opportunities to develop and introduce specialized AI and data offerings tailored to the needs of banking clients, staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies. Serve as a trusted advisor to banking clients, providing strategic guidance on leveraging data and AI to enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, risk management, and business performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts, data scientists, engineers, and consultants, to develop innovative solutions that address client challenges and drive business value. Drive business development efforts, including identifying and pursuing new client opportunities, participating in sales pursuits, and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders within the banking industry. Contribute thought leadership and insights to internal knowledge sharing initiatives, industry publications, and client engagements, showcasing Deloitte's expertise in AI, data analytics, and the banking sector. Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development within the AI and data practice. Let's talk about you Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or Business Administration; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS) preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the banking industry, with a deep understanding of banking operations, regulatory environment, and industry dynamics. Proven track record of success in consulting roles, with experience leading and delivering complex projects for banking clients. Extensive technical expertise in data analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and related technologies, with a demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts into business value. Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify market opportunities, develop compelling value propositions, and drive revenue growth. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence senior stakeholders, both internally and externally. Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented mindset and a commitment to delivering excellence.
