YOUR JOB IN A NUTSHELLThe Compliance Department of BNP Paribas Fortis is one independent control function that works independently and in close cooperation with the business to cover both the respect of regulatory rules and the protection of the reputation of the group. As a Compliance Controls & Risk Management Officer, you are responsible for the methodology, the organization and reporting of all compliance controls and risk management activities within the entity. It is also setting up relevant dashboards and assuring a correct Compliance set-up within the bank.We are looking for a Senior Compliance Controls & Risk Management Officer to join the Financial Security Team (including Fiscal Deontology).AND IN DETAILYou execute first and second line of defense controls within Compliance.You report on control results and, in case of identified weaknesses, you participate in the creation and monitoring of the related action plan.You submit initiatives to adapt and improve the controls’ set-up in cooperation with the team leader.You participate to the check and challenge of compliance risk assessments submitted by our business partners.You are responsible for registering and following up on remediation of regulatory incidents as well as regulatory and audit recommendations.You are in close contact with other control/risk entities to improve the compliance risk management within the bank.You work together with Compliance Domains.You bring your contribution to compliance reportings for the scope you are in charge of.YOUR TALENTS AND COMPETENCESYou have knowledge and experience in the following Compliance domains: Financial Security (KYC, AML, Sanctions) and Fiscal Deontology (FATCA, AEOI, …);You have a critical mindset and an eye for details.You have a proactive attitude and you are constantly looking for ways to optimize the processes.You are flexible and you can set priorities. You can work independently and autonomously.You are communicative, both written and oral. You are a team player and you contribute to a good team spirit.You have a master degree, or equal through experience.You have experience as an auditor or similar within or outside the bank.You have excellent skills in French and Dutch. A good knowledge of English is an asset.You are able to work with the MS Office Tools.
