System Engineer

Job DescriptionTo help build out, maintain, and troubleshoot our rapidly expanding infrastructure, we are looking for a System Engineer.Together with a talented global competence team of engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security, you:Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructureInstall, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management toolsProactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availabilityMonitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixesMaintain security, backup and redundancy strategiesProvide 3rd level supportDuty Support (24/7, on call every 7 weeks)You report to the Hosting Team Lead and work for multiple sites/plants of the Tessenderlo GroupQualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience as System EngineerExperience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting of Windows Server and Active Directory:Microsoft Windows Server OS/dB Admin Microsoft SQL/O365/AzureGUI Admin - Domain Controller (AD/GPO/ADFS/ - Command LineAzure Active Directory – AD ConnectAzure Admin virtual machineExperience with Azure CloudExperience with Linux based environments & System AdminSLE (Suse Linux Enterprise)Experience with virtualization, preferably with hyperconverged infrastructure solutions and/or containerization:Nutanix – HCI AHV (Min. Ver – is a good assetPrism Central/AFSAcropolisAnd/or VMWare – HCI ESXi (Min.
