Technical & Quality Manager

Milliken Textiles is currently looking for **a Technical & Quality Manage**r.**

**Function**:
As a member of the manufacturing management team, reporting to our Plant Manager, your role is to manage the quality process from the incoming raw materials until our end products, coordinate the process improvement projects and lead the Process Improvement & production lab team. You are responsible to raise the bar to best in class in terms of quality in line with our Milliken values.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that a quality system is set up and maintained in accordance with IATF, coordinate and maintain the quality procedures, all quality records, calibrations, MSA studies and production lab processes.
- Ensure that QMS requirements of the customer are carried out internally.
- Coordinate external quality audits and monitor the implementation of actions, also coordinate the execution of layout inspections and product audits.
- Participate in the annual evaluation of suppliers.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions of customer claims.
- Be responsible for the layout of MSDS and IMDS of our products.
- Lead the lab team and the PI team in their daily activities and support their further development.
- Help drive technical service and support your team with solving technical issues at production side.
- Participate in cross functional teams with new product development and commercial team on a project basis. Key function in ensuring successful transition from development to serial manufacturing.

**Profile**:

- You have a master’s degree in industrial engineering, chemical engineering or equivalent experience.
- You have at least 5 years’ experience in quality management. Experience in têxtiles or chemicals is an asset.
- You have knowledge of quality systems, experience in IATF is a strong plus.
- You have knowledge of FMEA, MSA studies, DMAIC.
- You have an analytical & problem-solving mindset and can easily translate theoretical plans into practical actions.
- You have experience in leading a team. You lead by example in strengthening a culture of excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- You are very fluent in Dutch and English.
- You have a practical knowledge of SAP.
- You work in a result driven, proactive and team-oriented way.
