**Data Sourcing Manager**
The Data Sourcing Manager is responsible for the Data Strategy and manages Data
Projects together with the Data Sourcing Specialist, as well as ongoing data operations at
Black Tiger Belgium.
Black Tiger Belgium supports customers in reaching highest data accuracy for their owned
data sets, strictly in accordance with the GDPR laws and requirements. The company is
constantly looking for partnerships, enabling best-in-class Data Quality offering for the
customers. Besides that, for some customers, we act as project managers, helping them to
manage data operations in complex technological ecosystems, offering outsourced
service of data sourcing.
New Data Sourcing Manager will work in close collaboration with the Data Sourcing
Specialist, who will be responsible for the execution of the Data Sourcing Strategy of Black
Tiger Belgium.
**Your responsibilities**
Perform market research (looking for new sources as per needs of the company);
Take overall responsibility for the strategic sourcing management goals of the
company and implement action items to ensure that those goals are achieved;
Responsible for negotiations for best possible cost service guarantee and develop
“win-win” strategies that achieve sustainable relationships with suppliers;
Negociating prices for the data;
Running business analysis;
Monitor profitability and look for cost optimization opportunities;
Internal
Work directly with customers, helping them to organize and execute data
operations with their partners (outsourced service);
Managing ongoing relationship with the data partners (control of quality, invoicing,
delivery issues, etc);
Setting up contracts, while working closely with DPO and CFO;
Act as a Product Owner for the Data Sourcing.
**Your Profile**
- You have an economical, business or computer science related education;
- You acquired at least 5 years of experience in a strategic data sourcing and/or
purchasing role;
- You have outstanding negotiation skills;
- You have a high sense of ownership and independency;
- You are self-motivated;
- You have excellent communication skills (written and spoken);
- Positive mindset and can-do attitude;
- Team spirit & high ethical standards;
- Analytical and data visualization skills are a must;
- Full proficiency in English and at least one of the following languages: French,
Dutch.
