**SENIOR **DATA ANALYST - Tribe Daily Banking & Mobile First - Brussels** - GJA scale 16**:

As a Data Analyst at ING you will play a crucial role in the data-driven culture by supporting our products and services Tribes. You will be responsible to support the decision-making process by delivering valuable insights to both your colleagues and our clients.
For this position you will join as a Senior Data Analyst the Daily Banking & Mobile First Tribe (Retail Area). Here you will be part of an Agile environment by being a member of Data Hub within Daily Banking & Mobile First with other Data Analysts.
The main mission of the Data Hub is to develop impactful analytical solutions, design customer engagement marketing campaigns to support ambition of tribe from and retail area (eg. Automated dashboards, deep dives on client behaviors, targeted campaigns & performance analysis,).
**Your key responsibilities**:
**Translating the business needs into an analytical request**:
- Hereby you will be discussing and challenging the needs and requirements with your stakeholders.
- While thinking along you already think a step further in terms of a feasibility analysis, setting realistic timelines, and cross-checking the data needs and availabilities.
- Based on this, you define a suitable approach and solution that fits the needs. These you communicate in a clear and transparent way to your stakeholders.
- _Executing an in-depth analysis on our customer data base to come up with answers to some specific questions or needs from the business_
- _Executing campaign targeting & design to achieve commercial objectives _
- _Analyzing campaign performance with recommendation for optimizing _
- _Performing a customer behavior analysis or model_
- _Create some advances ad-hoc reporting for specific needs, using tools like Cognos and Adobe_
**After the analytical quest you communicate your insights and recommendations in an appropriate way to the stakeholders**:
- Adapting your storyline and message to the needs and context of your stakeholders.
- Communicating clear and on a convincing way your recommendations and next steps; while keeping aspects of GDPR, data sensitivity and confidentiality into account.

As a Data Analyst you will also need to have following qualifications and competences:
- Master’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or alike, and/or equivalent experience of 3 years
- 2 years relevant experience in data analytics
- Experience in SQL is a must
- Experience with tools such as SAS, Cognos or Adobe are a plus; an interest in these tools is a must
- Be a team player
- Be analytical: extremely curious, constantly looking for an explanation; analyzing sharply, concise & to the point
- Take ownership on tasks assigned: you will be cultivating analytics within the bank
- Be able to influence and convince not only peers but also the stakeholders based on analytical results
- Fluent in English and French or Dutch.
