The role:
For the Dutch Public Sales Team, we are looking for a Bid Manager Tender Desk with extensive and in-depth knowledge of procurement and organizational and communication skills to join our Tender Team.
The Tender Desk is the epicenter of our organization. As Bid Manager, you will be the driving force behind our successful tenders. Because you are highly analytical and effortlessly distinguish between main and minor issues, you can flawlessly assess which information is crucial in putting together the tender.
Given the complexity of many tenders, your legal background makes you even better at analyzing and formulating the content. You know better than anyone else how to manage the procurement process from start to finish and motivate both internal and external stakeholders.
- As bid manager, you are responsible for guiding the procurement process. You have an important role in determining the content of the offer, under construction and under construction;
- You are functional manager of a tender team and are responsible for setting the schedule, meeting deadlines and monitoring the process. When quality, processes or deadlines are under pressure, the bid manager speaks to colleagues about it;
- To get to the essence of the customer's request, you work as a team on the bid. This includes (co-)formulating questions to the contracting authority to clarify the request.
- Review/qualify the information memorandum as it comes in and distribute it to the team.
- Prepare, contribute and edit tender texts.
- Submit a complete quotation within the specified deadline, including the formal side of a quotation such as references, statements, etc.
- Maintain internal contacts (account manager, tender team, specialists).
What we need to see from you:
Do you fulfill the following points? Then we are looking for you
- You have an HBO working and thinking level (a legal education is an advantage);
- You have experience in IT, at least three years of commercial and/or project experience;
- You have experience in writing and editing (European) tenders and RFPs;
- You can put yourself in the world of customers with their questions, wishes and needs;
- You are experienced in communicating clearly with everyone within the organization, from direct colleagues to management and the board, and you communicate quickly with them;
- You have an excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing.
- You are confident, accurate and critical;
- You know how to put together and manage the right tender team;
- Planning and organizing are in your blood;
- You have demonstrable commercial insight.
