benuts is a Belgian studio aiming to support its artists in the development of their capabilities in a creative and human
environment. We strive every day in order to live our values of: Expertise, Ambition, Cooperation and Humility. Over the
years, we built of team of 70 passionate artists, involved on several European projects of Motion pictures as well as
series, on a local and European scale.
In order to sustain these projects and our expansion, we are currently looking for a:
**IT / Systems Administrator**

The IT Specialist / Systems Administrator plays a crucial role in maintaining and optimising the technological infrastructure of
our VFX studio. This role involves ensuring the seamless operation of all IT systems, providing technical support to the team,
and collaborating with various departments to enhance workflow efficiency.

**Responsibilities**:
Systems Maintenance and Administration:
Manage and maintain the studio's IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking equipment.
Perform routine system updates, backups, and security checks.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues to minimise downtime.

Technical Support:
Provide technical assistance to employees, addressing hardware and software problems.
Collaborate with the Data Manager to address any IT-related challenges in the data management process.
Offer support for artists and production staff in using software and tools relevant to their roles.

Network Security:
Implement and monitor security measures to protect the studio's data and infrastructure.
Collaborate with the Data Manager to ensure secure data transfer to and from the facility.

Software Integration:
Collaboration with Production and VFX Teams:
Collaborate with the production team to understand and address IT requirements for ongoing projects.
Ensure that IT systems support the smooth flow of data between different departments, facilitating efficient
collaboration.

Continuous Improvement:
Stay informed about new technologies and industry trends relevant to VFX and IT.
Propose and implement improvements to enhance overall studio efficiency and productivity.

**Requirements**:
Excellent knowledge of computer systems, with expertise in Linux environments.
Experience with server management, networking, and cybersecurity.
Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Familiarity with VFX-related software and technologies, such as ShotGrid, Nuke, OCIO, Aces.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to IT challenges.
Excellent organizational and communication skills, team player, customer oriented, agile.
Fluency in English, French and/or Dutch is a strong asset.
Willing to contribute to benuts success and human culture, interested in continuous improvement regarding new
technologies.
