JOB SUMMARY:We are looking for an accountant to join our hotel establishment. As a "Cluster Accounts Payable," you will be responsible for assisting our accounting department in the daily management of financial operations for our two hotels.MAIN MISSIONS:Review and verify invoices / expense reportsFlag, clarify and resolve any unusual or questionable invoice / expense report items or pricesCode and match invoice with Purchase Order and/or any other approved documentsDispatch invoices for review and approval by the HODsFollow up with HODs to ensure invoices are approved and timely handed over to APEnter or upload invoices into the system following the local GAAP and the USALI standardsPrepare, review, process payment run / manual payment and follow up on the approval statusInvestigate purchase order which remains "open" for more than one monthMonitor the accounts payable aging to ensure payments are up to dateAssist with the allocation of payments in Accounts Payable / Accounts ReceivableAssist completing the month-end & year-end processReconcile accounts payable transactions and assist in reconciling open account status itemsProduce monthly / weekly reports as neededAssist with G/L accounts reconciliationAssist when needed with the monthly audits of inventoriesAssist with providing supporting documentation for auditsAssist with preparing tax returns and financial / tax auditsAssist with corporate reporting requirementsAssist with budget preparationsAssist with maintaining office supplies and order as neededMaintain confidentiality of organizational informationAny other job related duties as and when assigned by the Financial controller / Chief AccountantEnsure compliance to Warwick Hotels & Resorts Standard Operating Procedures
