Accounting Specialist | International Consumer Goods Group

Our partner is a global organization seeking an Accounting Specialist to support daily accounting operations and monthly closings in an international setup.You will join a well-established international group active in the consumer goods sector, known for its structured finance processes and collaborative culture. The role offers hands-on exposure to general accounting, accounts payable and cross-border finance operations, making it ideal for a young accounting professional looking to grow within a stable and international environment.Support general accounting activities and monthly closing processesRecord and reconcile general ledger accounts in line with Belgian and Dutch accounting standardsManage daily accounting entries, including supplier invoices and employee expensesCoordinate accounts payable activities: invoice booking, payment proposals and supplier follow-upEnsure correct classification of costs and timely financial reportingMaintain vendor master data and accounting documentation in line with internal guidelinesCollaborate with shared service centers to ensure accurate invoice processingSupport audit preparations and internal control proceduresAssist internal stakeholders with accounting and payment-related queriesPrepare reports on outstanding invoices and accounts payable activitiesExperience: 1–3 years of experience in accounting, finance administration or a similar roleLanguages: Fluent English; knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a plusQualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related fieldPermanent contract within a structured international organizationFull benefits package (meal vouchers, insurance, pension plan, etc.)Exposure to international accounting standards and SAP environmentsSupportive team culture with learning and development opportunitiesHybrid working possibilities and a healthy work-life balance Coordination, Payments, Monthly closing, Vendor master data, Internal control, Report Preparation, Documentation, General Accounting, Consumer Goods, Audit Preparation, Accounting entries, Support Audit, Billing, Financial reporting, Control Procedures, Finance, Classification, Accounts Payable, Invoice Processing, Supplier invoices, Accounting
